Worship on Campus

Lead Pastor: Matthew B. Scraper

“I believe that the love of Christ is proactive, sacrificial, and unconditional. A love like that can only be shared without judgment or coercion. I’ve spent a lifetime teaching others to encounter the teachings of Christ through the lens of love. If something inside of you is screaming that there’s got to be more to following Christ than what you may have experienced in the Church, then this is the right place for you.”

Dr. Matthew B. Scraper

The Foundry

Sundays @ 10:30 AM

You may (or may not) know this, but early Methodists in Britain began worshiping together in a local Foundry when other spaces weren’t readily available. Since then, the Foundry has been a symbol to us of helping to build something new, even as we continue to grow (ourselves) into what God is helping us to become.

This service is modern and casual by design. The contemporary and laid back feel of the venue includes comfortable chairs, tables, and coffee. Uplifting worship music followed by relevant and engaging teaching has become our normal.

The Chapel Service

Sundays @ 8 AM

Our congregation, like so many others, began with a traditionally designed United Methodist service. This early morning service preserves some of that heritage, using some of the older liturgies (prayers) of the church combined with more traditional hymns. With a more traditional feel and held in Owen Chapel, this comfortable service will spark a memory of the best components of our Methodist heritage.

The Gathering

Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM

The Gathering is our mid-week experience. While some people love to sit and listen to dynamic and engaging teaching, others learn through dialogue. If you like to flesh out what you believe through meaningful dialogue in a safe space, this service might be for you.

We begin with a voluntary, come-and-go meal at 5:30 in the Ministry Center. At 6:30 worship begins led by our Praise Team, which will transition into guided table discussions with conversation-starter questions led by Dr. Scraper.

Children and Youth ministries are coordinated at the same time, so there is something meaningful available for your entire family.
